Unknown to most of Enfield’s residents, Enfield Council invests tens of millions in dodgy, unethical fossil fuel companies.
Fossil fuel companies lied about their knowledge of climate change for decades, and are still active holding back climate action, keeping us tied to a dirty energy system that is killing us.
Divest Enfield is a group of local residents campaigning to end Enfield Council's investments in fossil fuels. We want the Council to join the 1,000 institutions and $8 trillion in worldwide investments that have already dumped fossil investments.
