Office Conference

With over 140 network members, EnCAF has grown at great speed. Let's keep up the momentum, and try and involve as many civil society groups, social enterprises and charities interested in climate change as possible. We also welcome groups that will work with us and give advice.

Please encourage others to join and let us know who you think will be interested. Forums like EnCAF will become increasingly important in the coming years as climate change impacts us all.

Join us for a free community screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing. This new 45 minute film brings together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and insights on issues including...

🌧️ Extreme weather
🍞 Food security
🏥 Health
💷 Cost of living

It includes the solutions that already exist to solve these issues, which will have a positive impact on our lives, health and wellbeing and on the UK’s financial and political stability.

The film screening will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Enfield Climate Action Forum (EnCAF) and partner organisations.

Join A National Movement

The screening forms part of a wider UK programme of events designed to help communities engage with the climate and nature crisis.

It is based on the November 2025 National Emergency Briefing in Westminster by naturalist Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden and other UK experts. It presents the national implications of climate and nature breakdown in a single non partisan account, helping communities process the information on a more human level.

"I’d encourage people everywhere to attend a screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing. This new film creates exactly the kind of honest, local conversation we now urgently need, both about the threat from climate and nature breakdown, but also about what we can do, together with our politicians, to build a better future.” (Chris Packham)

Have Your Say

Join an open discussion about the film and what it means for our community. We are inviting our local MPs and hope they will join this discussion and back a Parliamentary Call for a televised emergency briefing on this crisis.

Seats are free but limited so please book in advance, all are welcome.
